Air Conditioning in Kirkcaldy
Worcester Bosch air conditioning supplied and fitted from £1,800, with no VAT to pay. Cools in summer, heats in winter, and you get a guide price online in minutes. F-Gas certified engineers in Kirkcaldy. Installations are booked from spring 2027; surveys go ahead over the winter.
Cool in summer, warm in winter, and no VAT to pay
Modern air conditioning is an air-to-air heat pump. It cools the room in summer and heats it in winter, often for less than running the central heating in that one room, and it filters the air while it does it.
Because it is a heat pump, it qualifies for the government's energy saving materials relief, so there is 0% VAT on a domestic installation until 31 March 2027. The prices we quote are the final figure with nothing to add.
We fit Worcester Bosch only. It is the same manufacturer we are accredited with for boilers, the guarantees are theirs, and it means one company looks after the heating and the cooling.
Kirkcaldy is one of our main areas, and we fit Worcester Bosch air conditioning in homes right across the town.

What it costs
A single room fitted with a Bosch Climate 3200i starts at £1,800, with no VAT to add. That is the full fitted price: the unit, the outdoor condenser, up to five metres of pipework, brackets, the electrical allowance and the labour.
Bigger rooms, longer pipe runs, an internal wall or a new electrical supply add to it, and a multi-room system starts from around £3,500 for two rooms. Rather than guess, answer a few questions in the quote tool and you get a guide price for your own house in minutes. A free survey then confirms the fixed price before anything is booked.
Finance is available on air conditioning, subject to status.

How air conditioning works with us
Price online, free survey, fitted in a day or two.
Answer a few questions about the room, the wall and where the outdoor unit would go. The tool sizes the unit and gives you a guide price in minutes.
We check the room, the wall, the pipe route, the outdoor position and the electrics, then confirm your fixed price and the date.
Most single room installations are done in a day. We commission the unit, set up the app, register the guarantee and show you how to run it.
Air conditioning in Kirkcaldy, backed by 400+ five star reviews
Rated Excellent on Google, Trustpilot, Fife Trusted Trader and Facebook.
Every review is from a real local customer. Here is why.
Servicing and F-Gas
Air conditioning needs an annual service to keep the Worcester Bosch guarantee valid and to stop the efficiency dropping away. Filters and coils clog, condensate drains block, and refrigerant checks are legally F-Gas work.
We are F-Gas certified, so the installation, the servicing and any repairs all stay with us rather than being handed to a refrigeration firm. Ask about servicing when you get your quote and we will set the first one up.
We service the units we have installed. We do not take on servicing or repairs for air conditioning fitted by someone else, so that we can stand behind the whole system rather than inherit someone else's work.
Repairs and F-Gas leak checks
If something goes wrong with a system we fitted, the same engineers come out. No refrigeration firm to chase and no argument about whose fault it is.
Annual servicing keeps the guarantee valid, keeps the running cost down and keeps the refrigerant charge where it should be. Ask about servicing when you get your quote and we will set the first one up.
Heating, plumbing and renewables services for homes in Kirkcaldy
We look after heating for hundreds of homes across our area, including Kirkcaldy. Most of that work is the ordinary kind: annual services, breakdowns, gas safety certificates, and keeping systems running properly year after year.
With over 400 five star reviews from local customers, you get the same thing whatever you book. A Gas Safe registered engineer, a fixed price agreed before we start, and no attempt to sell you something you did not ask for.
Air conditioning questions in Kirkcaldy
Do you cover all of Kirkcaldy?
Yes. We cover the whole of Kirkcaldy (KY1 and KY2 postcodes), along with Kinghorn, Burntisland, Glenrothes and Dysart. Answer a few questions in the quote tool for a guide price, and we confirm it at a free survey.
Can you fit air conditioning in a conservatory?
Yes. A conservatory is one of the most common places we fit it, because it heats the room in winter and cools it in summer. The unit is sized for the glass and the sun the room gets.
Do you service or repair air conditioning fitted by another company?
No. We service and repair the Worcester Bosch systems we install, so the guarantee, the F-Gas records and the work stay with one company. If we fitted yours, the same engineers service and repair it.
Homes and heating in Kirkcaldy
Kirkcaldy is the Lang Toun, named for a main street Daniel Defoe described as a long mile, and it grew on linoleum after Michael Nairn opened his first floorcloth factory at Pathhead in 1847.
Sandstone villas
Around Abbotshall, Bennochy Road and Whytehouse Avenue the houses are mostly Victorian sandstone villas and terraces under slate roofs. Bigger older houses often run a regular or system boiler with a hot water cylinder.
High Street tenements
The High Street and the harbour area are tenements with shops below, many of them flats with a boiler in a tight space. Flue positions on these older buildings need more care, and we check them on every visit.
Kingdom Park
Up to 1,100 new homes are planned at Kingdom Park on the old Kingslaw site at the north of the town. New heating systems need a yearly service to keep their guarantee valid.
