Air Conditioning in Burntisland
Worcester Bosch air conditioning supplied and fitted from £1,800, with no VAT to pay. Cools in summer, heats in winter, and you get a guide price online in minutes. F-Gas certified engineers in Burntisland. Installations are booked from spring 2027; surveys go ahead over the winter.
Cool in summer, warm in winter, and no VAT to pay
Modern air conditioning is an air-to-air heat pump. It cools the room in summer and heats it in winter, often for less than running the central heating in that one room, and it filters the air while it does it.
Because it is a heat pump, it qualifies for the government's energy saving materials relief, so there is 0% VAT on a domestic installation until 31 March 2027. The prices we quote are the final figure with nothing to add.
We fit Worcester Bosch only. It is the same manufacturer we are accredited with for boilers, the guarantees are theirs, and it means one company looks after the heating and the cooling.
Burntisland is on our run along the Fife coast, and we fit air conditioning in the town's older stone houses and flats as well as its newer homes.

What it costs
A single room fitted with a Bosch Climate 3200i starts at £1,800, with no VAT to add. That is the full fitted price: the unit, the outdoor condenser, up to five metres of pipework, brackets, the electrical allowance and the labour.
Bigger rooms, longer pipe runs, an internal wall or a new electrical supply add to it, and a multi-room system starts from around £3,500 for two rooms. Rather than guess, answer a few questions in the quote tool and you get a guide price for your own house in minutes. A free survey then confirms the fixed price before anything is booked.
Finance is available on air conditioning, subject to status.
| Installation | From, no VAT to pay |

Guide prices for a standard installation: an external wall, an outdoor unit at ground level and a pipe run up to five metres. Larger rooms, longer runs, wall mounted outdoor units and a new electrical supply are priced in the quote tool. Every price is confirmed at a free survey before any work is booked.
Winter: Installations are booked from spring 2027, as we are concentrating on heating work over the winter. Surveys still go ahead now, so you can have your price confirmed and your date booked in.
How air conditioning works with us
Price online, free survey, fitted in a day or two.
Answer a few questions about the room, the wall and where the outdoor unit would go. The tool sizes the unit and gives you a guide price in minutes.
We check the room, the wall, the pipe route, the outdoor position and the electrics, then confirm your fixed price and the date.
Most single room installations are done in a day. We commission the unit, set up the app, register the guarantee and show you how to run it.
Air conditioning in Burntisland, backed by 400+ five star reviews
Rated Excellent on Google, Trustpilot, Fife Trusted Trader and Facebook.
Every review is from a real local customer. Here is why.
Servicing and F-Gas
Air conditioning needs an annual service to keep the Worcester Bosch guarantee valid and to stop the efficiency dropping away. Filters and coils clog, condensate drains block, and refrigerant checks are legally F-Gas work.
We are F-Gas certified, so the installation, the servicing and any repairs all stay with us rather than being handed to a refrigeration firm. Ask about servicing when you get your quote and we will set the first one up.
We service the units we have installed. We do not take on servicing or repairs for air conditioning fitted by someone else, so that we can stand behind the whole system rather than inherit someone else's work.
Repairs and F-Gas leak checks
If something goes wrong with a system we fitted, the same engineers come out. No refrigeration firm to chase and no argument about whose fault it is.
Annual servicing keeps the guarantee valid, keeps the running cost down and keeps the refrigerant charge where it should be. Ask about servicing when you get your quote and we will set the first one up.

Air conditioning questions in Burntisland
Do you cover all of Burntisland?
Yes. We cover the whole of Burntisland (KY3 postcodes), along with Kinghorn, Aberdour and Kirkcaldy. Answer a few questions in the quote tool for a guide price, and we confirm it at a free survey.
What size of unit does a home office need?
It depends on the size of the room, how much sun it gets and what equipment runs in it. The quote tool sizes the unit from your answers, and the survey confirms it before your price is fixed.
Do you service or repair air conditioning fitted by another company?
No. We service and repair the Worcester Bosch systems we install, so the guarantee, the F-Gas records and the work stay with one company. If we fitted yours, the same engineers service and repair it.
Homes and heating in Burntisland
Burntisland grew from a fishing village into a burgh and a Victorian seaside resort. Its older town is a conservation area.
The old town
High Street, Somerville Street and Kirkgate have 16th to 18th century buildings, many harled with pantile roofs, alongside 19th century stone. A new flue position on these can need consent, which we check before any boiler is replaced.
Villas and tenements on the Links
The Links area has villas, terraces and tenements from the late 18th to the early 20th century. We service and repair boilers in flats as well as houses.
Newer homes
The town grew northward through the 20th century, and newer homes such as those at The Grange have boilers that need a yearly service to keep their guarantee valid.
