Plumbing, from the team that fits your heating

Most plumbing problems in a Fife home are heating problems in disguise. A damp patch under a radiator, pressure that keeps dropping, a room that never warms up. Our plumbers and Gas Safe registered engineers look after the whole system, from the boiler to the last radiator, so you deal with one local team.

We trace the fault to its cause, explain it in plain English and recommend the repair that fits, not the most expensive one.

We specialise in heating plumbing. We do not repair taps, toilets, showers or shower trays.

What our plumbers help with

From a single weeping valve to a system that has never worked properly.

Engineer tracing a heating leakLeaks

Leaking pipes and valves

We trace leaks from radiator valves, joints and heating pipework, then repair or replace the part that has failed and bring the pressure back up.

Radiator replacementRadiators

Radiator replacement and upgrades

Tired, damaged or undersized radiators replaced and sized for the room, with the valves and balancing checked at the same time.

Thermostatic radiator valveTRVs

Radiator valves and TRVs

Set each room to the temperature it needs. Seized or leaking valves replaced.

Magnetic filter and boilerFilters

Magnetic filters

Catch sludge before it reaches the boiler. Fitted to existing systems and cleaned at every service.

Power flushing a heating systemPower flushing

Power flushing and system cleaning

Radiators cold at the bottom are usually full of sludge. We check the cause first, then flush the system so water circulates freely again.

Smart heating controlsControls

Smart heating controls

Hive, Tado and Worcester Bosch controls installed and set up, so the heating runs around the way you actually live.

Photo plan: leaks, a valve close up on a radiator; radiators, a new radiator being hung; TRVs, a hand turning a new TRV; filters, a Greenstar filter on the pipework; flushing, the machine connected; controls, a smart thermostat on a wall. Portrait for the tall frames, landscape for the wide ones.

Frequently asked questions about our plumbers in Fife

What areas do you cover for plumbing?

Dunfermline and the whole of Fife, as well as South Queensferry and Winchburgh. That includes Dalgety Bay, Rosyth, Inverkeithing, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Cowdenbeath and Burntisland.

Are you plumbers or heating engineers?

Both. Our plumbers and Gas Safe registered heating engineers work on everything connected to your heating system, from the boiler and pipework to radiators, valves and controls.

Do you repair taps, toilets or showers?

No. We specialise in heating systems, so we do not repair taps, toilets, showers or shower trays.

Can you fix a leaking pipe or radiator valve?

Yes. We trace the leak, then repair or replace the valve, joint or section of pipe that has failed. If water is escaping, turn off your stop tap where it is safe to do so and switch the boiler off before calling us.

Why is my radiator cold at the bottom?

Warm at the top and cold at the bottom usually means sludge inside the radiator. Cold at the top usually means air and needs bleeding. We check the cause first, then recommend the right fix, which may or may not be a power flush.

Do you replace radiators and fit TRVs?

Yes. We replace damaged, leaking or undersized radiators and fit thermostatic radiator valves so you can control the temperature room by room.

Do you install magnetic filters?

Yes. We fit magnetic filters to existing systems, and every new boiler we install comes with a magnetic filter and system flush included.

Is a repair visit a fixed price?

Yes. A repair visit is £120 inc VAT, paid when you book. If the fix needs more than the visit allows, we quote it before any extra work starts.

Do you work for landlords as well as homeowners?

Yes. We carry out heating plumbing for homeowners and landlords, and we also provide landlord gas safety certificates.

How do I book a plumbing repair?

Book online at any time, call 01383 660098, or send a photo and your postcode on WhatsApp. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
