A local, family run heating company based in Dunfermline, looking after boilers, plumbing and heat pumps for homes across Fife since 2019. Gas Safe registered, Worcester Bosch Accredited, and rated five stars by over 400 customers.
Our story
The Heat Network started in Dunfermline in 2019 as Jones Heating, one engineer and a van, looking after boilers for neighbours and their neighbours. The name changed in 2025 as the team grew, but the way we work has not: turn up when we say, explain things in plain English, price the job before we start and leave the house as we found it.
We are still based in Dunfermline, minutes from the M90, and most of our customers are within half an hour of the office. A lot of them have been with us since the Jones Heating days. Over 400 of them have left us five star reviews on Google, Trustpilot, Fife Trusted Trader and Facebook, and none of those reviews were asked for.
Today the team fits Worcester Bosch boilers, services and repairs every major make, looks after heating plumbing, and services heat pumps and air conditioning, with Home Care plans for customers who would rather not think about any of it.

Gas Safe registered
Register number 626544. Every gas job is carried out by a registered engineer and recorded.
Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer
Trained and accredited by Worcester Bosch, which is what lets us offer guarantees of up to 12 years on the boilers we fit.
F-Gas certified
Qualified to install and service air conditioning and heat pump refrigerant systems.
BPEC Level 3 heat pumps
Heat pump design and installation qualification, with servicing on all major heat pump makes.
Unvented hot water
Qualified for unvented cylinders, so we can work on the whole hot water system.
Water regulations
Certified under the water supply regulations for plumbing work in Scotland.

Approved member of the Fife Council backed scheme, with checked references and moderated reviews. See our listing.

Fife Trusted Trader approved
Anyone can put a logo on a van. Fife Trusted Trader is different, because it is run by Fife Council's trading standards service and you have to be checked before you are on it.
It matters most when something is not straightforward: a quote you want to compare, a deposit you are unsure about, or a job that has gone wrong. The scheme sets the standard we work to and gives you an independent route if we do not meet it.
Checked before we were let in
Fife Council's trading standards service vets every trader before approval: the business details, the insurance, the qualifications and references from real customers.
Reviews we cannot edit
Reviews are left on the Trusted Trader site by customers and moderated by the council, not by us. We cannot delete one we do not like.
A code of practice
Approved traders sign up to a code covering quotes, cancellation rights, deposits and giving customers reasonable time to pay. It is why our invoices are emailed after completion rather than handed over on the day.
Somewhere to go if it goes wrong
If we cannot resolve a complaint, Trusted Trader offers an independent dispute resolution route through the council rather than leaving you to argue with us.
