Modern air conditioning is an air-to-air heat pump. It cools the room in summer and heats it in winter, often for less than running the central heating in that one room, and it filters the air while it does it.
Because it is a heat pump, it qualifies for the government's energy saving materials relief, so there is 0% VAT on a domestic installation until 31 March 2027. The prices we quote are the final figure with nothing to add.
We fit Worcester Bosch only. It is the same manufacturer we are accredited with for boilers, the guarantees are theirs, and it means one company looks after the heating and the cooling.

What it costs
A single room fitted with a Bosch Climate 3200i starts at £1,800, with no VAT to add. That is the full fitted price: the unit, the outdoor condenser, up to five metres of pipework, brackets, the electrical allowance and the labour.
Bigger rooms, longer pipe runs, an internal wall or a new electrical supply add to it, and a multi-room system starts from around £3,500 for two rooms. Servicing and F-Gas
Air conditioning needs an annual service to keep the Worcester Bosch guarantee valid and to stop the efficiency dropping away. Filters and coils clog, condensate drains block, and refrigerant checks are legally F-Gas work.
We are F-Gas certified, so the installation, the servicing and any repairs all stay with us rather than being handed to a refrigeration firm. Ask about servicing when you get your quote and we will set the first one up.
We service the units we have installed. We do not take on servicing or repairs for air conditioning fitted by someone else, so that we can stand behind the whole system rather than inherit someone else's work.
Repairs and F-Gas leak checks
If something goes wrong with a system we fitted, the same engineers come out. No refrigeration firm to chase and no argument about whose fault it is.
