Government funding can cover a big part of the cost
Scotland has some of the most generous heat pump funding in the UK. Through Home Energy Scotland, eligible homeowners can claim a grant of up to £7,500 towards a new air source heat pump, money you do not pay back.
On top of the grant, you can take an optional interest-free loan of up to £7,500 to spread the rest of the cost, with no interest to pay. We will talk you through what you may be eligible for as part of your survey.

A warmer home, lower bills, less carbon
An air source heat pump replaces your old boiler with a far more efficient way to heat your home and hot water. Here is what that means for you day to day.
Lower running costs
A heat pump produces several units of heat for every unit of electricity it uses, making it far more efficient than a gas or oil boiler. Paired with the right tariff, that efficiency can mean noticeably lower heating bills over the year.
A big cut in your carbon footprint
Heating is one of the largest sources of carbon emissions in most homes. Switching from a fossil fuel boiler to a heat pump can dramatically reduce your home's emissions, and futureproofs you as Scotland moves away from gas.
One system for heating and hot water
A heat pump warms your home and your hot water from a single, low-maintenance system. With no gas combustion in the home and far fewer moving parts than a boiler, a well-installed heat pump is built to run quietly and reliably for years.
